Curiosity takes me to the Weekly Photo Challenge: Narrow
I have just discovered the Daily Post challenges and was curious about the many interesting ways to depict narrow in a photograph.
My first picture was taken this June near the beginning of a macro photography course, when I was still trying to get a handle on depth of field using an extension tube. The focus is very narrow in this shot, and I like how it is not in a straight line, but curves with the rock.
Learning about and photographing birds over the past few months has been wonderful and one of my favourites is the black-necked stilt. It amazes me that they can balance on their narrow legs, and I love the pink colour!
I also like this quote from physicist Niels Bohr:
An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes which can be made, in a narrow field.
