Spring at Fintry Provincial Park

Water: necessary for life but also destructive. This spring, the Okanagan has seen its share of flooding. The normally meandering creeks were rushing and muddy, angrily tearing away anything in their paths and pounding on the rocks.

On a recent trip to Fintry Provincial Park, the falls were thundering and the rising mist was lovely and cool.

The creek at the bottom was high, but apparently not as bad as a few weeks ago.

The octagonal dairy barn is interesting to photograph.

The marmots were everywhere! Climbing on fences and even chilling in a second story window.

One board higher and it would match Chelsea’s record!

I didn’t realize they were such good climbers. I’m glad I looked up.

Look at those teeth!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great week!
